Über Cool Traceroute Tool, Ajax Style

Ever want to run a traceroute from several geographical locations around the globe at one shot?  Check out just-traceroute, a new way to visually watch your routes.  In a single view you can watch your server be traced from Australia, Singapore, United States, and the Netherlands.  You will find the whole interface is Ajax’d to the max, and is quite handy.  While not as visually appealing, they also have a tool called just-ping which pings your host from 26 servers around the globe.  Powered by watchmouse.com, they also offer several other free tools which are equally as cool, not to mention useful.  Have a look at their free DNS Analysis tool, it’s pretty sick.

note: they do not pay me for this, i just stumbled across their site and thought it was awesome.

  1. I tried with both IE7 and FF3. I get no joy. It states that I don’t have Java Script enabled (when I do).

  2. @Erik Just was in touch with Tracy over at just-traceroute.com. Apparently they were in the midst of upgrading one of their javascript packages (jquery) and all is ok now.
